Kia Syros MY26 Launched in India at Rs 8.39 Lakh

Kia India has officially launched the refreshed Kia Syros Model Year 2026 today on April 20 2026. The starting price is Rs 8,39,900 ex-showroom which is actually lower than the previous starting price of Rs 8,67,000. So the new version costs less at the entry level while bringing in more variants, fresh design updates and wider availability of automatic transmission options. This update is not a complete redesign.
It is a smart and focused update that addresses the most common feedback from Syros buyers and adds more options across the lineup so more buyers can find a variant that fits their budget and needs.
What Is New in the Kia Syros MY26
Kia has made changes to the front, rear, sides and the variant lineup. Here is a clear breakdown of everything that is new:

Front Design Updates
The Syros MY26 gets a brand new sporty and rugged front bumper with body-coloured aero inserts. The skid plates are now finished in glossy black. LED fog lamps are now part of the front setup as well. Together these changes give the Syros a more assertive and premium looking face compared to the outgoing version. Rear Design Updates At the back there is a brand new bumper with body-coloured aero inserts that match the front. An LED high-mounted stop lamp has also been added at the rear which adds both a safety and visual update.
Side Profile Updates
The side profile now gets glossy black roof rails and ORVMs along with a body-coloured side garnish. These additions tie the overall exterior together and give the car a more cohesive premium look from all angles.
New Alloy Wheels
The HTX and HTX(O) variants now come with new R17 crystal cut alloy wheels with neon coloured brake calipers. The neon calipers are a bold and sporty detail that stand out especially through the alloy spokes and give the higher variants a very distinctive road presence.
Three New Colour Options for Kia Syros MY26

Kia has added three brand new colour options to the Syros MY26 lineup:
Magma Red
Ivory Silver Matte
Ivory Silver Gloss
The matte colour options have been very popular with Indian buyers across brands and Ivory Silver Matte gives the Syros a premium and modern look. Magma Red is a bold and energetic choice that suits the sporty updated exterior well.
Four New Variants Added – More Choice at Every Budget

Kia has expanded the Syros lineup with four new variants based on direct customer feedback. The new trims are HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O) and HTX(O). With these additions the total Syros variant lineup now has seven trims to choose from across both petrol and diesel and manual and automatic combinations. This wider variant spread means buyers at different price points can now access more features without having to jump to a much higher variant. Kia calls this democratising access to premium features and it is a smart approach in a segment where buyers are very value conscious.
Diesel Automatic Now More Accessible – Starting at Rs 12.73 Lakh
One of the most important updates in the Syros MY26 is the wider availability of diesel automatic variants. Previously the diesel automatic was only available in higher trims. Now the diesel automatic option is available from the HTK+ variant onwards at Rs 12,73,900 ex showroom. For city buyers who prefer the fuel efficiency of diesel but the convenience of an automatic gearbox this is a direct and useful upgrade. Urban traffic conditions in Indian cities make automatic transmissions far more practical for daily use and Kia has responded to that demand clearly.
Kia Syros MY26 Features That Continue From Before

The core strengths of the Syros that made it popular remain fully intact in the MY26. These include:
30-inch Trinity Panoramic Display with Connected Car Navigation Cockpit
Dual-pane panoramic sunroof
Streamlined door handles
Front and rear ventilated seats
Second row seat recline and slide with 60:40 split
20 standard safety features
5-star BNCAP safety rating
80 plus connected car features
OTA updates
Kia Connect Diagnostics
The 5-star BNCAP rating continues to be one of the Syros's strongest credentials in the compact SUV segment. Very few cars in this price range have been tested and certified with this level of crash safety performance.

Why the Syros MY26 Makes More Sense Now
The Syros was already a strong product when it launched. It brought features like a 30-inch panoramic display, dual-pane sunroof, ventilated seats front and rear and a 5-star BNCAP rating to a price point where most rivals were not offering all of this together. The MY26 update makes the package even sharper. The starting price is now lower than before. The diesel automatic is available at a more practical price point. The four new variants fill gaps that existed in the lineup. And the design updates give it a fresher and sportier look that makes it more visible on the road. For anyone who was considering the Syros and wanted more choice or a more accessible entry price this update is worth a fresh look at the showroom.
