Kia Sorento Hybrid Spied in India: 7-Seater SUV Details

Kia seems to be planning something big for the Indian market. The upcoming Kia Sorento has once again been spotted testing on Indian roads, which shows that the company may be seriously considering its launch in India. This premium 7-seater SUV is expected to come with a strong hybrid powertrain and could compete with popular SUVs like the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, and Hyundai Alcazar.

Recent spy shots show that the SUV has a strong road presence. Reports also suggest that the Sorento is bigger in size than the Mahindra XUV700. Globally, the SUV is around 4.8 metres long, which gives it a more spacious and premium feel.

Kia has not officially confirmed the full India-spec details yet, but several reports suggest that the SUV being tested is internally known as “MQ4i” and may get a petrol-hybrid setup.
