VinFast Electric MPV Launching in India on April 15
VinFast is launching its first electric MPV in India on April 15, 2026. The car will come under two names depending on the buyer. Private customers will get it as the VF MPV 7, while fleet and commercial operators will know it as the Limo Green, the same name used in global markets.

Bookings are already open from April 2, 2026. Interested buyers can reserve the car by paying Rs 21,000 through VinFast's official website at vinfastauto.in or by visiting any of the company's 50 authorised dealerships across India. The official price will only be revealed on April 15 at the launch event.
On the competition front, the car will take on the Kia Carens Clavis EV, Mahindra XEV 9S and BYD eMax 7.
VF MPV 7 Details
The VF MPV 7 carries the same front face as the VF6 and VF7, with LED light bars and vertically placed headlights. The body shape is intentionally boxy and upright to make the most of the cabin space inside. It rides on 19-inch alloy wheels and keeps things clean and simple on the outside.

The interior follows the same no-fuss approach. A 10.1-inch touchscreen sits at the centre of the dashboard along with a floating centre console. The global model skips a traditional instrument cluster, but the India version is expected to get a head-up display for driver information, similar to the VF6 and VF7. Features include automatic climate control, electronic parking brake, 4 airbags, ABS with EBD and a 4-speaker audio system.
The VF MPV 7 runs on a 60.13kWh battery with a single front-mounted motor producing 204hp and 280Nm of torque. VinFast claims a range of 450km on a full charge. With 80kW DC fast charging, the battery can be topped up from 10 to 70 percent in about 30 minutes. India specs are expected to be similar.
What Buyers Get
VinFast is offering a 75 percent buyback guarantee after two years, a Rs 2 lakh incentive for buyers switching from a petrol or diesel car, free charging until March 2029 and a 10-year warranty. The company also plans to grow its network to 75 dealerships and touchpoints across India by the end of 2026.
