Renault Duster 2026 Waiting Period Revealed — Petrol in April, Hybrid in November
The Duster launched on March 17 and bookings have been strong. If you have already booked or are still thinking about it, the main thing on your mind right now is probably when the car actually shows up at the dealership.
Turbo-Petrol Delivery Date
Deliveries for both turbo-petrol variants start from mid-April 2026. That is about three to four weeks after the launch date. Renault builds the Duster at its Chennai plant and production is already running, so the wait for petrol buyers is not long.
If you are going with the 1.0-litre manual, the 1.3-litre manual or the 1.3-litre DCT, your car should reach the dealership by mid to late April depending on your city and variant.

Hybrid Buyers Wait Till Diwali
The E-Tech strong-hybrid is not part of the April delivery batch. Renault has confirmed it arrives around Diwali 2026, which falls in November this year. That is roughly an eight month wait from the launch date.
The hybrid uses a 1.8-litre petrol engine, a 49hp electric motor and a hybrid starter generator with a combined 160hp. If fuel efficiency on long highway runs is the main reason you want the Duster, this wait may still be worth it.
Book Before March 31 to Save Money
Renault's pre-booking program called R-Pass costs Rs 21,000. R-Pass holders get the introductory launch price of Rs 10.29 lakh on the base Authentic variant and priority delivery over regular bookings.
This offer closes on March 31, 2026. From April 1, the same variant starts at Rs 10.49 lakh and there is no priority delivery benefit.
Renault also reserved priority slots for the first 2,026 buyers who booked the Iconic Launch Edition in Mountain Jade Green. Those customers will be among the very first to get deliveries in April.
