Renault Duster Base Variant Reaches Local Dealership
Starting base model Authentic variant priced at Rs 10.49 lakh, Hybrid version set to arrive in the festive season.

Most affordable Duster now reaching dealerships across India
Powered by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine making 99bhp
Full hybrid variant launch expected later this year
Good news for buyers of Renault Duster base model price — about a month after Renault officially announced prices for the new-generation Duster, the entry-level Authentic 1.0 Turbo MT variant has started arriving at local dealer yards. The car seen here is finished in Pearl White and confirms that Renault Duster base model availability has now begun at the ground level.
The Renault Duster 2026 price in India starts at Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom) for this base Authentic trim, making it one of the more accessible options in the midsize SUV space right now. The base model Renault Duster on road price will vary by city after adding registration, insurance and road tax, so buyers should check with their nearest Renault dealership for the exact figure.

On the outside, even the base trim comes reasonably well-equipped — LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED tail lights, a rear spoiler with a high-mounted stop lamp, 17-inch steel wheels, chunky bumpers, body-coloured ORVMs and door handles, and a 'Turbo' badge on the tailgate.
Step inside and the cabin gets black upholstery with grey stitching, a digital colour driver's display, steering-mounted controls, front and rear armrests, two rear AC vents, power windows, auto start-stop, reverse parking sensors, ABS with EBD and six airbags as standard — a solid safety kit for this price point.
The base Authentic variant runs on a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, putting out 99bhp and 166Nm. Those wanting more performance can step up to higher trims — including the Renault Duster Techno price variants — which get a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol with 6-speed manual and DCT options. The Renault Duster 2026 top model price sits at the top of this range with the fully loaded DCT trim. As for Renault Duster 2026 mileage, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol variant is rated at around 19 kmpl (ARAI), though real-world figures will depend on driving conditions.
It is worth noting that Renault does not currently offer a 7 seater Renault Duster — the new-gen model is a 5-seater SUV. Buyers looking for a 7-seat Renault product may need to wait for future model announcements. A 1.8-litre full hybrid variant is also confirmed for launch later in 2026, likely timed around the festive season, and is expected to bring better fuel efficiency to the lineup.
Prices are ex-showroom. On-road prices vary by city and state
