New Renault 4 E-Tech Electric Roland-Garros Edition

Renault has officially unveiled the new Renault 4 Roland-Garros E-Tech Electric Show Car ahead of the 2026 French Open tennis tournament. The special electric show car was revealed on April 16 and will make its public debut at the Roland-Garros stadium on May 18, 2026.
This is also the fifth straight year that Renault is partnering with the Roland-Garros tournament as a premium partner. The tournament will take place from May 18 to June 7, 2026.
Sporty Design Inspired By Tennis

The Renault 4 Roland-Garros edition comes with a clean and sporty design inspired by the tennis world. The car gets a Glacier White exterior colour along with black roof arches and black side pillars, giving it a premium dual-tone look.
Renault has also added special Roland-Garros detailing on the front fenders along with 18-inch black diamond-cut alloy wheels. The Terracotta Brown accents on the wheels and bumpers are inspired by the clay courts used in the French Open tournament.
One of the biggest highlights is the electric-powered black canvas roof. Renault says the roof opening is quite large and helps bring more sunlight and an airy feel inside the cabin.
Cabin Gets Unique Roland-Garros Touches

Inside, the cabin gets several custom design elements specially made for this edition. The seats come with light grey upholstery made from recycled materials and the texture is inspired by sportswear fabric.
The front seats also feature Roland-Garros branding, while the dashboard and door panels get matching inserts with blue detailing and small French flag touches. Another interesting feature is the e-pop shifter, which is inspired by the grip of a tennis racket. Renault has also added a clay-coloured wireless charger, special floor mats, brushed aluminium door sills, and blue textile finishes across the cabin.
Features and Technology
The production-ready Renault 4 Roland-Garros E-Tech electric is expected to come loaded with modern features and connected technology.
Some expected highlights include:
Large touchscreen infotainment system
Digital driver display
Connected car technology
Wireless phone charger
Premium recycled upholstery
Electric opening canvas roof
Special Roland-Garros edition styling
Augmented reality support through the “hello reno” app
Renault says users will also be able to explore the car in augmented reality using the hello reno app on Android and iOS devices.
Launch Expected in Autumn 2026

Renault has confirmed that the production version of the Renault 4 Roland-Garros E-Tech electric will go on sale in Autumn 2026. The company says this special edition continues the sporty and stylish theme already seen on the Renault 5 Roland-Garros E-Tech electric model.
Renault To Showcase More EVs During Tournament

Apart from the Renault 4 show car, the company will also display the Renault Twingo E-Tech electric and Renault 5 E-Tech electric Roland-Garros edition during the tournament.
The Renault 5 Roland-Garros model comes with a 52kWh battery pack and offers a claimed driving range of up to 410km on a single charge.
Renault Will Use 188 Electrified Vehicles at Roland-Garros
As the official transport partner of the tournament, Renault will provide a fleet of 188 electrified vehicles during Roland-Garros 2026.
The lineup includes Scenic E-Tech electric, Rafale Hyper Hybrid E-Tech 4x4, Renault Espace Full Hybrid, Renault 5 E-Tech electric, and the Twingo E-Tech electric.
Renault will also continue testing autonomous electric shuttles during the event with partner WeRide. These driverless minibuses will help transport visitors between different areas of the tournament venue.
