Honda City Facelift Leaked
Honda India has confirmed May 22 2026 as the official launch date for the new City facelift. But before the launch even happened clear undisguised images of the car leaked online and now we already know what has changed.
The leaked images show the new front end of the City with redesigned LED headlamps that have a sharper look, a new honeycomb pattern grille and a restyled bumper with new air inlets at both edges and a revised air dam. The Honda badge has been moved above the grille instead of sitting on it and the alloy wheels also get a new dual-tone design.

Inside the cabin spy images have revealed a freestanding infotainment display suggesting a larger screen will replace the current 8-inch unit. This would also bring a minor redesign to the dashboard layout.
On the features side Honda is expected to add a powered driver seat, ventilated front seats and an optional 360-degree camera along with new trim pieces and upholstery.
The powertrains carry forward unchanged. The 121 hp 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol continues with a 6-speed manual or CVT option and the 126 hp e:HEV hybrid with e-CVT is also retained.

Pricing is expected to be slightly higher than the current model which sits between Rs 12 lakh and Rs 20 lakh. The City facelift will go up against the Hyundai Verna, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus.
Full details and official prices will be announced on May 22 2026.
