Audi has officially unveiled the all-new Q7, marking the arrival of the third generation of its flagship SUV. The latest model builds on the strengths of its predecessors while bringing several updates in terms of design, technology, comfort and performance.

The new Audi Q7 comes with a bolder exterior, advanced lighting features, multiple seating options and an upgraded V6 diesel engine. It also gets a new panoramic sunroof, a more connected infotainment system and a wide range of safety and driver assistance technologies.

The new Audi Q7 features a more muscular and premium-looking design. It gets a larger Singleframe grille, a higher bonnet line and prominent wheel arches that give the SUV a stronger road presence. At the rear, Audi has redesigned the D-pillar and roofline, helping create a cleaner look while also improving cabin space. Depending on the market, buyers can choose between the standard Advanced Line and the sportier S Line package.

Advanced Lighting Technology Is A Major Highlight

One of the biggest upgrades on the new Q7 is its lighting technology. Audi offers optional Digital Matrix LED headlights with micro-LED technology along with third-generation digital OLED tail lamps. The SUV supports up to eight digital light signatures and also introduces projected turn indicators that display signals directly on the road surface. Audi says these features help improve visibility and make driving safer, especially at night.

Audi will offer the new Q7 in five-seat, six-seat and seven-seat configurations. For the first time, buyers can choose two individual seats in the second row, giving the cabin a more premium and business-class feel.

The five-seat version offers up to 806 litres of boot space, which increases to 2,075 litres when the rear seats are folded. The seven-seat version provides up to 722 litres of luggage space and a maximum cargo capacity of 1,980 litres.

The new panoramic sunroof is one of the standout features inside the Q7. It stretches across all three rows and uses switchable transparency technology, allowing occupants to adjust the amount of light entering the cabin. Audi has also added integrated illumination to the glass roof, which works with the ambient lighting system. This helps create a brighter and more premium cabin atmosphere.

Inside, the SUV comes equipped with Audi’s latest MMI panoramic display that uses OLED technology. A passenger display is offered as standard, while an optional head-up display provides important driving information directly in the driver's line of sight.

The new Q7 also supports the Audi Application Store, giving users access to various apps without needing a smartphone connection. Audi’s voice assistant can control vehicle functions and answer general questions, while ChatGPT integration helps provide additional information when required.

Premium Audio System Delivers An Immersive Experience

Audi is also offering an upgraded Bang & Olufsen 4D sound system in the new Q7. The setup includes 22 speakers and delivers up to 1,360 watts of power. The system uses special seat actuators that create vibrations in sync with the music, allowing passengers to feel the audio experience in addition to hearing it.

V6 Diesel Engine Comes With Mild-Hybrid Support

Powering the new Audi Q7 is a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine available in two versions. The higher-output model produces 299 PS and 630 Nm of torque, while the second version delivers 245 PS and 500 Nm.

Both variants are equipped with Audi’s MHEV Plus mild-hybrid technology, which can provide up to 24 PS of additional power. An electric-powered compressor further improves throttle response and acceleration performance.

The new Q7 comes standard with an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox and Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system. Buyers can also opt for adaptive air suspension and adaptive air suspension sport. Audi additionally offers all-wheel steering, which improves low-speed manoeuvrability and enhances stability at higher speeds.

Comprehensive Safety And Driver Assistance Package

Audi has equipped the Q7 with a wide range of safety and driver assistance features. These include adaptive driving assistant plus, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and a 360-degree camera system. Other notable features include Trained Parking, Reverse Assist, Exit Warning and Emergency Assist, which can safely bring the vehicle to a stop if the driver becomes unresponsive.

Price And Availability

The new Audi Q7 will continue to be produced at Audi’s Bratislava plant in Slovakia. Orders in Germany will open in June 2026, while customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in September 2026. Pricing starts at €87,900 for the 245 PS version, while the more powerful 299 PS variant is priced from €90,500.
