Skoda Kushaq Facelift Launched at Rs 10.69 Lakh
Skoda India has launched the Kushaq facelift and prices start at Rs 10.69 lakh, going up to Rs 18.99 lakh ex-showroom. This is a mid-life update, not a full redesign. But there are enough changes here on the engine, features and design side that it is worth a proper look.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift Price List

Prestige | Rs 16.79 lakh | Rs 17.59 lakh | Rs 18.79 lakh |
Monte Carlo | - | Rs 17.89 lakh | Rs 18.99 lakh |
Prices are up by as much as Rs 94,000 over the old model. The base variant is now called Classic+ and replaces the older Classic. It also gets an automatic option now, which was not available before on the base trim.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift Engine and Mileage
The biggest change under the hood is the new 8-speed torque-converter automatic on the 1.0-litre TSI. The old 6-speed unit is gone. The difference in mileage is significant. The 1.0 TSI 8AT now claims 19.09kmpl against 15.78kmpl on the old 6-speed. The manual version returns 19.66kmpl.
The 1.5-litre TSI continues with the 7-speed DSG and now claims 18.72kmpl, up from 17.71kmpl earlier. Manual gearbox is only available on the 1.0 TSI. The 1.5 TSI lineup also gets rear disc brakes as standard with this update.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift Exterior
The front end is completely new. Slim LED headlamps with eyebrow-like DRLs now connect across the grille via a segmented light bar, the same design already seen on the Kodiaq. The bumper is reshaped too, with an angular silver skid plate sitting below.

At the rear, a full-width LED light bar runs across with illuminated SKODA lettering and sequential turn indicators. New alloy wheel designs come in 16 and 17-inch sizes depending on variant.
Three new colours are available - Cherry Red, Shimla Green and Steel Grey.
The Monte Carlo gets its own treatment. Chrome is out, gloss-black is in. Two red stripes on the grille and unique badging complete the look.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift Interior
The Prestige gets a black-and-beige cabin theme and the Monte Carlo gets a crimson scheme. The dashboard layout stays the same but the car now has a 10.25-inch digital driver display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with updated software. Dual-colour ambient lighting is new. Higher variants get a panoramic sunroof and lower ones get a single-pane unit.

Skoda has swapped the old fixed AC compressor for a variable-displacement unit. In simple terms, the AC cools faster and uses less energy doing it.
The rear seat massage function is a first in this segment. No other car at this price offers it. Other features include 6-way powered ventilated front seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charging pad, automatic climate control, front parking sensors and leatherette upholstery.
Google Gemini AI is now built into the infotainment for hands-free control and real-time information. Boot space is listed at 491 litres, though Skoda now measures it to the roofline rather than the parcel tray.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift Safety
Six airbags come standard on all variants, along with ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, electronic differential lock, hill-hold assist, ISOFIX mounts and an auto-dimming rear view mirror. Rain-sensing wipers and rear wash-wiper are now standard across the range.
Skoda Kushaq Facelift Rivals
The Kushaq facelift takes on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Volkswagen Taigun, Tata Sierra, Maruti Grand Vitara and Honda Elevate. At Rs 10.69 lakh the base Classic+ sits slightly above the entry-level Duster and Grand Vitara but comes with a more powerful engine and better equipment for that price.
