  • Performance vRS variant with 220 bhp also expected

Skoda has officially pulled the covers off the Skoda Epiq EV in Europe, and it is the brand's most accessible electric offering to date. Measuring 4.1 metres in length, the Skoda EV SUV is the first production model to fully adopt Skoda's new Modern Solid design language. It features a Tech-Deck Face that houses advanced sensors behind a glossy black panel, flanked by T-shaped LED lighting elements that give the front end a clean, futuristic look.

Design and Dimensions

The Skoda Epiq may be compact on the outside, but it punches well above its size when it comes to practicality. Despite its 4.1-metre footprint, it offers a class-leading boot capacity of 475 litres, expandable to 1,344 litres with the rear seats folded. This makes it one of the most space-efficient compact EVs in its segment anywhere in the world.

Skoda Epiq Interior

The Skoda Epiq interior follows a clean, minimalist approach. It gets a 13-inch central touchscreen, a 5.3-inch digital driver display and sustainable interior materials throughout the cabin. Practical touches include physical buttons for essential functions a refreshing choice in an era of touch-only controls along with wireless mobile charging and a digital key that allows smartphones to unlock the vehicle. The overall feel is modern, uncluttered and well thought out for everyday use.

Battery, Skoda Epiq Range and Performance

The Skoda Epiq range story is one of its strongest points. The Skoda EV Epiq is available with two battery pack options: a 38.5 kWh entry-level pack and a larger 55 kWh unit with a maximum claimed range of up to 440 km on a single charge. Power outputs start from 112 bhp and go up to 205 bhp in standard variants. A high-performance vRS variant is also in the pipeline, expected to deliver up to 220 bhp, making it one of the quickest small EVs in its class. The Skoda ev range across the lineup makes it a genuinely practical choice for daily commuters. Fast charging support allows the battery to go from 10 to 80 percent in approximately 23 minutes, and the car also supports bidirectional charging, meaning it can power external devices or even a household when needed.

Skoda Epiq Price and Launch Date

The Skoda Epiq price in Europe is expected to start at around EUR 25,000, which would make it one of the most competitively priced compact electric SUVs in that market. The Skoda Epiq launch date for European markets is expected in late 2026, with sales beginning shortly after. The Skoda ev price positioning makes it especially interesting in the current EV market.

The big question for Indian buyers is whether the Skoda Epiq India launch will happen. As of now, Skoda has no electric vehicle on sale in India, making the Epiq technically Skoda's first EV to be officially revealed for global markets. The Skoda EV India price and Skoda EV India plans remain unclear for now. For those hoping for a Skoda EV car under 10 Lakh option in India, it will be launch soon in India auto market.

European pricing and launch details are based on current reports. India launch plans have not been confirmed by Skoda.
