First Look: 2027 Hyundai Creta Spy Shots : Bigger, Bolder, and What to Expect

The next-generation Hyundai Creta has been spotted on test roads, and from what we can see, this is going to be a massive upgrade over the current model.
Hyundai has started real-world testing of the third-generation Creta, and spy shots from both Indian and international roads are already making waves among car enthusiasts. Wrapped in heavy covers , what we see is exciting. The third-generation model is expected to make its official debut around 2027
2027 Hyundai Creta : Bigger Size, Bolder Design

The next-generation Creta trades its softer rounded styling for a squarer and more assertive stance. Creta based on recent spy shots, and the renders show Ioniq-like pixel LED DRLs on top with headlights positioned below them. There is also a conventional Hyundai logo . A flat bonnet and rectangular headlamp signatures give it a boxier profile,
while the side profile features a slightly tapering roofline and new alloy wheels.The new Creta is expected to get 19-inch alloy wheels, and the wheel design has been noticeably matured.
One of the biggest changes coming with the 2027 Creta is its size. The current model's length of 4,330mm could stretch to nearly 4,500mm, allowing it to compete more closely with larger rivals like the Kia Seltos
New Platform, Same Reliable Engines You Trust
The third-generation Creta will shift to the Hyundai-Kia K3 platform, Similar to the next-gen Kia Seltos .which promises improvements in structural and crash safety, better NVH levels. In simple terms, this means the car will feel more solid, quieter on the road, and safer in a crash.
Hyundai is expected to continue with its trusted 1.5-litre engine options in India. Buyers will likely get a choice of petrol, turbo-petrol, and diesel engines, just like before. These will be available with different gearbox options including manual, CVT, DCT, and automatic.
There are also reports that Hyundai is working on a strong hybrid version. This could come a bit later after launch and will be a big step towards better fuel efficiency. With this, the Creta may take on rivals like the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Maruti Suzuki’s hybrid SUVs more strongly.
Tech and Features
The cabin of the 2027 Creta is where things really get interesting. The new gen Creta might come with dual 12.3-inch infotainment and instrument screens, or even a triple 30-inch Trinity Display with an additional 5-inch climate control screen, similar to what's seen in the Syros and Seltos.
Spy shots have confirmed an electric boss mode, and other expected features include ventilated front seats, powered front seats, dual-zone climate control, rear ventilated seats, a powered tailgate, Level-2 ADAS, a panoramic sunroof, premium Bose speakers, 360-degree cameras, and a digital key.
