Hyundai Upcoming 3 Hybrid SUVs in India, Including Two 7-Seater Models

Hyundai is getting ready to make a strong entry into the hybrid car segment in India.,The future lineup will include several new-generation models, all-new SUVs, an off-road SUV and an MPV, offered across multiple powertrain options.

This move clearly shows Hyundai’s focus on offering fuel-efficient and future-ready SUVs without compromising on performance and comfort.

New Hyundai 7-Seater Hybrid SUV (Ni1i)

Hyundai is also working on a brand-new 7-seater SUV (codenamed Ni1i), which will sit above the Alcazar in the lineup. it will go head-to-head against the Mahindra XUV 7XO, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safar

While Hyundai hasn’t shared official details yet, the upcoming SUV is expected to take inspiration from the China-spec Tucson LWB. It may come with an electrified version of the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine, which is also likely to debut with the next-gen Creta.

Next-Generation Hyundai Creta Hybrid

The Creta is already a top-selling SUV in India, Hyundai is also planning to enter the fast-growing hybrid SUV space with the next-generation Creta, expected in 2027. This model is likely to become the brand’s first hybrid offering in India.

Hyundai Palisade Hybrid (Premium 7-Seater)

The Hyundai Palisade, available globally in 7- and 8-seater layouts, is set to debut Hyundai’s new 2.5L turbo petrol hybrid powertrain. This setup delivers around 334bhp and 460Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and both FWD and AWD options. It also offers multiple drive modes like Eco, Sport, and My Drive, along with terrain modes such as Snow, Mud, and Sand. As Hyundai’s flagship SUV, the Palisade is expected to be priced around ₹50 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
