Tata Tiago & Tiago EV Facelifts: New Tech & Design

The updated Tata Tiago and Tata Tiago EV have been officially revealed by Tata Motors before their expected launch on May 28, 2026. Both hatchbacks now come with noticeable design updates, new technology features, and a more premium overall look. Tata Motors has not yet shared all interior and engine details, but the new models are expected to offer a better driving and ownership experience than the current versions.
At present, the petrol-powered Tiago is priced between Rs 4.60 lakh and Rs 7.68 lakh, while the Tiago EV is available between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Since the facelift models get several new features and styling upgrades, Tata Motors may slightly increase the prices after the official launch.
Completely Refreshed Exterior Design

The 2026 Tiago facelift gets a sharper and more modern design inspired by Tata’s latest styling language. The front section has been updated with sleeker LED headlamps, a revised grille, and a sportier bumper design. On the other hand, the Tiago EV gets a cleaner EV-specific front look with a body-coloured fascia for a more futuristic appearance.
Key exterior highlights include:
New LED headlamp setup with redesigned DRLs
Sportier front bumper and updated grille
Fresh dual-tone alloy wheel design
Updated rear section with modern LED taillamps
From the side, Tata has kept the familiar hatchback shape but added subtle styling updates that improve the overall road presence. The rear section also looks more premium with revised detailing and sporty design elements.
Cabin Expected to Become More Premium

While Tata Motors has not fully revealed the interior yet, teaser visuals suggest noticeable upgrades inside the cabin. The dashboard layout now looks more modern and technology-focused, while the overall fit and finish are expected to feel more premium than before.
The facelifted Tata Tiago and Tata Tiago EV are likely to get a larger touchscreen infotainment system, which could be around 10.25-inch in size, similar to Tata’s latest models. The updated cabin may also include digital displays, improved upholstery, wireless smartphone connectivity, and better seating comfort for daily driving. Tata is expected to improve the overall practicality and in-cabin experience, especially for city users looking for a more feature-rich hatchback.
360-Degree Camera and Feature Upgrades
One of the biggest highlights of the facelift is the addition of a 360-degree camera system, which is still rare in this segment. The updated Tiago lineup is expected to offer more premium and convenience-focused features to improve the driving experience.
Expected premium features include:
360-degree surround-view camera
Wireless smartphone connectivity
Wireless charging support
Connected car technology in top variants
These upgrades are expected to make the Tiago and Tiago EV more competitive against rivals like the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, Maruti Suzuki Swift, and WagonR.
