New SUV Tata Curvv EV SeriesX Launched in India at ₹16.99 Lakh
TATA.ev, India's biggest electric car maker, has officially launched the Curvv.ev SeriesX — a fresh pair of long-range variants of its popular SUV coupé. The new range starts at just ₹16.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai), making it one of the most value-packed electric SUVs in its segment.
What Is the Curvv.ev SeriesX?
The Curvv.ev SeriesX brings two new variants — the Accomplished X 55 and the Empowered X 55 — both powered by a 55 kWh battery pack. These new personas are designed for people who want a stylish, long-range EV that handles both city driving and long highway trips with ease.
A brand-new colour option, Nitro Crimson, has also been added, alongside the bold DARK edition, giving buyers a total of five colour choices.
Accomplished X 55
The entry-level SeriesX variant, the Accomplished X 55, is far from basic. It comes loaded with an openable panoramic sunroof, dual 26.03 cm digital displays (instrument cluster + touchscreen), wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 360-degree camera with blind-spot view.
Comfort gets a big upgrade too, with India's first R-Comfort seats with passive ventilation, premium leatherette upholstery by Benecke Kaliko, and Serenity Screen rear sunshades.
Empowered X 55
If you want everything, the Empowered X 55 is where it's at. It steps things up with front seat active ventilation, a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, two-stage reclining rear seats, and a larger 31.24 cm Cinematic Touchscreen by HARMAN . Music lovers will appreciate the JBL 9-speaker sound system with a subwoofer.
On the tech side, it packs Level 2 ADAS with 20 safety features, R18 alloy wheels, V2V and V2L charging with a Frunk, a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, and dynamic smart lighting — making it one of the most feature-rich EVs you can buy under ₹20 lakh in India.
