BMW Alpina 7 Series V8 Sedan Coming In 2027

The upcoming sedan will use a turbocharged 4.4-litre V8, and BMW has already confirmed that an M Performance variant of this engine is coming in 2027 for the updated 7 Series as well. The old 760i produced 536hp from the same basic unit, and the new Alpina version is expected to go beyond that figure. While the concept itself is a one-off coupe design study and may never reach production, some of its design elements are expected to carry over to the production sedan. The concept already adopts the 2027 7 Series dashboard layout, complete with a passenger-side screen, and its overall footprint at 5,200mm suggests it could comfortably pass as a larger, more imposing 7 Series variant.
