Volvo India to Increase Prices of All Cars from May 1

Volvo India has announced that it will increase the prices of all its cars starting from May 1, 2026. The price hike will apply to the entire lineup available in India.

The company said that the price increase can go up to Rs 1 lakh, but the exact change for each model has not been shared yet.

Why are prices increasing?

Volvo has explained that this step is taken because of rising costs. There are global supply chain issues and changes in foreign exchange rates, which are making car production more expensive.

Also, ongoing global tensions have affected the movement of raw materials, which has added to the overall cost.

Which cars will be affected?

All Volvo cars sold in India will get this price hike. The current lineup includes:

• EX30 (electric)

• EC40 (electric)

• XC60 (petrol SUV)

• XC90 (flagship SUV)
