MG Majestor Launching in India on April 27 - Expected Price, Features & More

MG Motor India has officially confirmed that the MG Majestor will make its price debut on April 27, 2026 — and honestly, if you've been keeping an eye on the full-size SUV.
MG's bid to establish itself firmly at the top of the ladder, replacing the well-known Gloster as the brand's flagship petrol-free, body-on-frame SUV in India.
Bookings for the MG Majestor are already open, with deliveries scheduled to kick off in May 2026. The SUV will be offered in four variants: Sharp 4X2 (7-seater), Savvy 4X2 (7-seater), Savvy 4X2 (6-seater), and Savvy 4X4 (7-seater)
Price Details, Rivals & Why It Stands Out
MG Majestor somewhere in the ₹40 lakh to ₹45 lakh (ex-showroom) bracket. The Majestor is set to give tough competition to rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq.
MG is offering attractive benefits for early buyers, including a complimentary 5-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty, 5 years of labour-free servicing, and 5-year roadside assistance (RSA) for the first 3,000 customers.
Engine & Performance

Majestor runs a 2.0-litre twin-turbocharged diesel engine — borrowed from the higher-spec Gloster variants — punching out 215 bhp and 478.5 Nm of torque. Power goes through an 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox.
The 4X4 variants come loaded with MG's M-Hub terrain management system, offering drive modes for Snow, Rock, Sand, Mud, and Normal and the Majestor is genuinely built for more than just highway cruising. It also gets low-range 4WD — something serious off-roaders will appreciate.
Design — Boxy, Bold, and Built to Impress

The MG Majestor carries a bold, boxy design that gives it a strong road presence. Up front, it gets a large grille finished in gloss black, flanked by vertically stacked LED headlamps and sleek, eyebrow-style LED DRLs , The front bumper looks rugged , chunky cladding and a silver skid plate.
This tough styling continues along the sides, with protective cladding running over the wheel arches and lower doors. It rides on stylish 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, while side steps make getting in and out more convenient.
