5 New Mahindra SUVs Coming in 2026: BE 07, Vision S, Thar Facelift & More

Mahindra is preparing a strong SUV lineup for 2026, covering new electric models, lifestyle-focused SUVs, and updated versions of its existing petrol and diesel vehicles. On the EV side, the company is steadily expanding its Born Electric strategy with upcoming models like the BE series and new-generation electric SUVs built on dedicated EV platforms, focusing on long driving range, fast charging support, and modern connected features.

The brand’s main focus remains on fresh design updates, improved technology, enhanced safety, and a more premium cabin experience. At this stage, most of the information is based on early reports, concept showcases, and industry expectations, so final specifications may change when the models are officially revealed.

Mahindra BE 07 (Electric SUV)

The Mahindra BE 07 will be part of Mahindra’s Born Electric range and will be built on a dedicated EV platform made for next-generation electric SUVs. It is expected to come with a large battery pack, fast charging support, and modern connected car features. As per reports, it may offer a driving range of around 450 km or more, making it useful for both city and highway driving. The SUV is also expected to deliver strong performance with quick acceleration. The expected price could be around ₹25–35 lakh (approx.), but nothing is officially confirmed yet.

Mahindra Vision S (Concept SUV)

The Mahindra Vision S is a concept SUV that shows Mahindra’s future design and technology direction. It is expected to sit between compact and mid-size SUV segments with a bold and modern design language. Since it is still a concept, official engine details are not confirmed, but reports suggest possible future production versions may use a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing around 117 PS and 300 Nm torque, and a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine producing around 130 PS and 230 Nm torque.

Fuel efficiency figures are not available yet, but petrol versions may offer average SUV mileage while diesel could deliver better economy. If launched, it may be priced around ₹9–17 lakh (approx.) depending on variant. Some reports also suggest a possible launch timeline around 2026–2027, but there is no official confirmation yet.

Mahindra Thar Facelift

The Mahindra Thar facelift is expected to get small design updates and new features, while keeping its strong off-road character unchanged. It will continue with the same 2.0L petrol and 2.2L diesel engines, producing around 130–150 bhp depending on variant. The SUV is expected to keep its rugged performance with a top speed of around 155–160 kmph (approx.). Pricing is likely to stay close to ₹11–17 lakh (ex-showroom), and no big mechanical changes are expected.

Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift

The Scorpio N facelift may come with refreshed styling, better interior quality, and extra features for a more premium feel. It will continue with the same 2.0L petrol and 2.2L diesel engines, producing up to around 200 bhp in petrol and 175 bhp in diesel versions. It may also get more safety features and driver assistance systems. The top speed is expected to be around 165–170 kmph (approx.). Current pricing starts near ₹13 lakh, with a possible small increase after updates.

Mahindra Scorpio Classic Update

The Scorpio Classic may also get minor updates focused on features and styling, while keeping its old-school rugged SUV identity. It will continue with the trusted 2.2L diesel engine producing around 130 bhp and 300 Nm torque. The SUV is known for strong low-end performance and simple durability. The top speed is around 150 kmph (approx.). Pricing is expected to stay in the ₹13–17 lakh range with only small changes.
