2026 Bajaj Chetak Launched In India – More Affordable, Faster & Better Than Before
Bajaj Auto has launched the updated 2026 Bajaj Chetak range in India with new pricing, better performance, and faster charging. The latest electric scooter lineup starts at Rs 91,504 (ex-showroom), making the base model more affordable than earlier.
With these updates, Bajaj is aiming to make the Chetak a stronger option for daily city riders and buyers looking for a trusted electric scooter.
Better Performance Across The Range
Bajaj has improved the overall performance of the new Chetak lineup. The base variant now offers a top speed of 60 kmph, while mid variants can go up to 70 kmph. Higher variants now reach 80 kmph.
This makes the new Chetak more suitable for city roads, regular office travel, and smoother riding in traffic.
Bigger Battery For Better Range
The company has also upgraded the battery in select top variants. The higher model now gets a 4.8 kWh battery pack, compared to 4.5 kWh earlier.
This upgrade is expected to give better riding range and improved battery efficiency.
Improved Charging Time
Charging has also become quicker in the updated Chetak range. Bajaj says select variants can now charge from 0 to 80 percent in under 3 hours. This upgrade will be useful for daily riders who want less waiting time and more convenience.
Updated Variant Lineup Introduced
Bajaj has updated the Chetak range with a fresh naming system. All variants now come with a “C” suffix and the electric scooter is available in five versions – C2501, C3001, C3501, C3502, and C3503. This gives buyers more options to choose from based on their budget and feature needs.
Better Value For Buyers
The entry-level model is now around Rs 5,000 cheaper than before, making it more attractive for budget buyers. Some higher variants have become slightly expensive, but they also get extra features and upgrades.
