Both CNG and petrol cars have their own advantages, and the better option depends on your daily usage. Petrol cars usually offer smoother driving, better pickup, and stronger performance on highways. They are also preferred by people who enjoy long drives and quick acceleration. Popular petrol cars like the Hyundai i20 give around 20 kmpl mileage, while the Maruti Suzuki Swift offers nearly 24 kmpl. The Tata Altroz also delivers around 19–23 kmpl depending on the variant.

On the other hand, CNG cars are a better choice for daily city driving because running costs are much lower. They may feel slightly less powerful than petrol cars, but they help save more money on fuel. Cars like the Maruti Suzuki WagonR CNG offer around 34 km/kg mileage, while the Tata Tiago CNG gives nearly 26 km/kg. The Hyundai Exter CNG also delivers around 27 km/kg.

If your daily running is high and you want lower fuel expenses, a CNG car is usually the better option. But if you want better performance, smoother driving, and more comfort on highways, petrol cars are generally a better choice.
