PDI in a vehicle stands for Pre-Delivery Inspection.
It is a complete inspection done before a new car or bike is delivered to the customer. During the PDI process, the dealership checks the vehicle properly to make sure everything is working fine and there are no problems.
The check usually includes:
Engine and battery condition
Tyres and brakes
Paint and body condition
Features and electronics
For example :- before handing over a new car, the dealer checks if there are any scratches, damages, or technical issues. This helps make sure the customer receives the vehicle in proper condition.
